Increase In Airport Security For International Flights
These measures will eliminate curbside baggage check-in on
international flights and will result in more questioning of passengers
in check-in lines, as well as inspections of carry-on baggage. It
will no longer be permitted to have your baggage checked-in
through hotels.
Travelers are urged to clearly label their luggage and be
prepared to have all carry-on items checked and answer questions
about it. It has also been noted that in various major airports
around the United States, two photo I.D.'s have been required
at check-in.
Also, it is at the full discretion of any airline to deny a passenger
boarding due to inadequate identification and/or any other actions
of a suspicious nature. Therefore, you should use your full legal
name, as it appears on your drivers license, when booking
airline tickets. Nicknames and/or first initial only with last name
will not work!
